Easter 2009

For Easter this year we went to Beaver Dam (it's in between St. George and Mesquite). My dad has a second home down there that we stayed at. There was a total of 21 of us, 12 adults and 9 kids, plus 3 dogs. The trip started out great, we got down there Thursday night. Friday we had a day of fun planned on the 4 wheelers. Well the fun lasted for about half of the day. Logan and I were on a 4 wheeler together and we wrecked!!! We were very lucky we had helmets on, or things could have been worse. Logan broke his arm just above the growth plate in his left elbow(he is left handed). I on the other hand couldn't move my leg. We thought for sure it was broke. When we went to the emergency room in St. George they said nothing was broke. YEAH!!! However the put me in a brace and told me to see a doctor when we got home. I ended up finding out I have a partial tear in my ACL, not fun. Anyhow the rest of the trip had to go on. We made the best of it, and Logan and I both ended up back on the 4 wheelers before the end of the trip. It was so nice to be in warm weather. We all had a great time even with the accident. I loved spending time with all my step brothers and their families. We can't wait for the next time, without injuries.
