I just want to let everyone know that on Saturday August 18th we are going to be doing a fundraiser for the "Step Out for Diabetes" walk. We are going to having it at my house, 5478 Ticklegrass Rd. West Jordan, Ut. We will have raffle items, bake goods, food and more. We are doing the fundraiser to help raise money for the ADA ( American Diabetes Association ) to find a cure for Diabetes. I hope some of you can come by and check it out.
Our family will also be participating in the actual walk on the 29th of September. Our goal as a family/team is to raise at least $3,000 for the walk. Last year our team brought in $2,452, we are hoping to pass that this year. We also want to have as many people as possible to walk with us on our team. It is a great cause and a fun event for the whole family. The walk takes place at This is the Place Heritage Park and ends at the Hogle Zoo.
